Avv. Giorgio Righetti

In 2009, he got CClassic High School  diploma in Genoa.

During university studies he spent a period of stay abroad under the "Cinda" interchange program at the Mendoza Law University (Argentina). 

In 2014, he graduated cum laude in Law (Laurea Magistrale in giurisprudenza) at the University of Genoa with a doctoral thesis in Custom Law: “The assessment of customs between need of efficiency and protection of taxpayers’ rights: outlines of domestic and European law”.

In 2014, he started an internship at the Milan Office of an American International law firm specialized in Investment Disputes.

He co-operates with Studio Legale Righetti since 2016.

He practices as Lawyer and is a member of the Bar Association of Genoa since 2018. 

In 2018, he successfully attended the Master "Maritime and Transport Insurances" held by the University of Genoa. 

He also writes for the Maritime Law Review "Il Diritto Marittimo", in particular in the matters of Custom law and road carriage regulations.

He is specialized in Maritime and Trasport law and handles on daily basis matters involving freight forwarders, MTO and logistic operators, maritime and transport insurers (H+M, cargo, carriers’ and freight forwarders’ liabilities), Custom disputes, international commercial contracts, litigation in civil and commercial cases.
